The Special Services Department encourages all of our students to be involved in all building activities. Each teacher meets with a group of no more than 5 students and they work on various activities and skills to help enhance the classroom curriculum. Many of our staff also work in integrated settings, team teaching with our colleagues.
Courses Offered:
We offer ACE courses in English, Social Studies, Math, and Science, as well as Resource Room classes, and a cooperative work-study program.
Extra Help:
We run
a 10th period homework helper session, Monday –Thursday. These sessions are available to ANY student in the building looking to get a head start on their homework for the day.
Activities:
We
sponsor a Breakfast of Champions in the fall, and hold a celebration for the
Women of the 21st Century in the spring.
