AP District Honor Roll Commack Named an AP Honor Roll District
Commack High School was named to College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) District Honor Roll for its commitment to providing students with the access and opportunity to enroll in AP courses. College Board recognized only 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada for increasing access to AP coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. Our students are #1 in test scores on AP exams in Suffolk County, with 85% of the test takers scoring in th 3-5 range.  This is the second time since 2010 that the College Board has recognized Commack. Reaching these goals shows that Commack is successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are ready for AP. “This is another testament to our dedication and commitment to our ‘Access and Opportunity’ philosophy, which allows all students to access, higher-level courses of interest,” said Dr. James, Superintendent of Commack School District. But there's so much more we offer!
