Reset Your Password Remotely

 Please note:  You must set up your authentication profile prior to resetting your password!!!
                           This will NOT work from a computer in the District.
 
The information you submit will be private, encrypted and stored on Microsoft’s secured servers.

Here are the instructions to reset your password using Microsoft Office 365.

Step 1:  Make sure your authentication profile is up to date.
               You can verify and make changes anytime by going to following URL.
               https://aka.ms/ssprsetup
               Make sure you have added your alternate email address (not your Commack email address) and cell phone number for
                receiving a text message with password reset code.

Step 2:  If you need to reset your password go to https://aka.ms/sspr
               Follow the directions to receive either an email to your alternate email address on file or a text to your cell phone.
               You will need to provide the code that is sent to you to continue.

Step 3:  Change your password using our district password policy.
               Your password must be 8 characters minimum, at least one upper case, one number and one symbol. You cannot reuse
               old passwords.

Step 4:  Your password will synchronize from the Office 365 cloud down to the Commack network in approximately 10 minutes.
               You should receive an email sent to your alternate email address verifying that you initiated this password reset.
               If you receive an email and you did not initiate this password reset, please contact [email protected].
