The Audit Committee, which meets a minimum of four times a year, was established to assist the Board of Education in the oversight of both the internal and external audit functions. The role of an audit committee shall be advisory and any recommendations it provides to the Board shall not be substituted for any required review and acceptance by the Board of Education.
There is a vacancy on the Audit Committee. The Board of Education will appoint one (1) new member to the Committee and they shall serve without compensation in two (2) year terms, renewed annually by Board of Education. All members of the Audit Committee shall be residents of the District.
