Mrs. Dank's Golden Musicians

.
Welcome to music with Mrs. Dank!  In our music classroom we celebrate learning as we sing, move to and explore all kinds of music. Many of you are looking here for the first time as we are all staying home and healthy.  Music has many healing properties!  I hope that this website will help you find some peace as you learn some songs, advance your rhythmic skills and enjoy some classics!

February 10, 2020 Blackbird - The Beatles
I am so glad I thought to capture the first day we were able to sing through this piece! I know we've come a long way since February 10 in chorus, but with practice at home, I know we can really perfect those harmonies!

"Polka Dot Challenges"

Earn a polka dot for this worksheet! One per student please.
Each worksheet is worth one polka dot. Here's your chance to fill up your class folders with polka dots!
I'd love for you to share this journal with us when we return. :)
You can really learn a lot from this awesome collection of American composer flip books. If you choose to complete a flipbook, I'll award your class with a polka dot! Remember, every 5 polka dots earned entitles you with a free move up the class staff!
Let's fill the hallways at Burr with these American Composers! For every poster that gets beautifully colored in, I will award your class with a polka dot. Remember, for every 5 polka dots that your class earns, you will receive a "free" move on our classroom staff! I can't wait to see your art!
If you choose to complete a Mozart book, I'll award you with a polka dot! Remember, he was writing music when he was only 5 years old!

Sing about your own uniqueness! Let your spirit shine!
This song is a classic!
This is a fun song with movements. It's not as easy as it seems!
This song gets a little messy at the end. Don't forget to clean up. :)
Don't forget to wash your hands when you're finished playing this game!
Here is the Brahms Lullaby. Can you sing it in English AND German?
Enjoy this lullaby written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
This is a great song to learn and sing with your family as a round!
I love singing this song because of it's two sections.
