ü 3 Ring Binder (Preferably 1 ½ “)

ü 4 Tab Dividers

§ Notes

§ Homework

§ Tests/quizes

§ Review

ü Ti-83, Ti-83 plus, Ti-84, Ti-84 Plus, Ti-84 Plus Silver Edition

                          (if you do not have a calculator, I would recommend purchasing a Ti-84 Plus

                           or you may borrow one from the library)

ü Pen and Pencil

ü Graph Paper     

Grading:

Tests and quizzes will make up 90% of each of your term grades

Tests are out of 100 Points

                                                         Quizzes are less than 100 points                                 

=       IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE UP ANY MISSED EXAMS/QUIZZES.  EXAMS/QUIZZES NOT MADE UP WITHIN A GIVEN TIME PERIOD WILL BE GIVEN A NUMERICAL GRADE OF 0.

 =       MISSED EXAMS/QUIZZES DUE TO UNEXCUSED ABSENCES WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESULT IN A NUMERICAL GRADE OF 0.  

Homework:

                        Homework will make up 10% of your grade

                        Each assigned homework counts as 2 points.

Extra Help:

Extra help will be given every Tuesday immediately after school unless otherwise noted. 

Additional extra help sessions (AM/PM) may be announced each week. 

Extra help days will be noted on the weekly homework agendas

            Discipline:

Discipline will be at the teacher’s discretion.  In most cases, a warning will be given for the first offense.  After the first offense, a phone call home will be made and/or detention will be given.  Insubordinate behavior will not be tolerated.  The severity of the offense will determine the consequence.
