The creation of spreadsheets to demonstrate the student’s knowledge about budgeting with the use of a vacation budget. To create the vacation-budget spreadsheet, students will:

determine and incorporate the calculations needed,
gather information on current costs to the destinations of their choice through Internet and other research,
chart the percentage of their budget spent in different fields, and
create a pie graph from the data.
