Important Information

Elementary Homework
Elementary homework will be sent home in your child's folder/notebook when assigned by the teacher. Please check this folder/notebook daily.
Notification of Assignments
Long-term assignments, projects, chapter tests, etc., will be posted in the Class Announcement section as determined by the teacher.

 Bowlero Field Trip is Wednesday, 6/5.  Please send in permission slip by Wed. 5/22.  There is no cost for this trip.

         It is hard to believe that very soon the leaves will be falling and you’ll be entering 3rd grade!  I hope you are as excited starting school in which ever form it takes.  Our classroom. whether in school or virtual is eagerly waiting for you and your classmates to arrive in September.

           As for now, our student visitation day is scheduled for 9/3.  *Schedule to follow.  The First Day of School is 9/8. 

         **If your mother or father is interested in being a class parent, please email me indicating that on the first day of school.  My email:  [email protected]

         Here are a few things to remember for the first day of school: (if at Sawmill)

1.     Bring all school supplies (you may want to put some supplies in your backpack, and others in a shopping bag)

2.   *You can find the Generic Third Grade Supply List in the MSIS Backpack at, and any additional supplies for our class on the bottom of this letter.

*If you pre-ordered your supplies, they will be mailed to your home, so bring them in on the visitation day 9/3 or on the first day 9/8.

                       *Please be sure to LABLE your supplies with your first and last name.  We will not be sharing supplies this year, so it is really important to lable everything. 

3.     Bring a nutritious snack.

4.     Bring a recent picture of yourself.

5.     Bring a smile!!

                       I cannot wait to meet you in person or on Zoom!  See you soon. J
