Welcome to CMS!

I am looking forward to a very successful and rewarding sixth grade year for all of us. I will post important information about class and upcoming projects, quizzes, and tests on this site. Although this site will be updated on a regular basis, students are expected to copy homework assignments into their Agenda Planner every day. This will ensure that they are prepared for class. Please note that I am a member of the Social Studies Department. I teach three sections of Social Studies and one section of ELA. We're going to have a great year together!

Contact Information

During my teaching career, I have found that family involvement is essential in a child’s education. I strongly believe that when we work together, our students will have a more successful educational experience. I will keep in touch with you throughout the year. If you would like to speak with me, the best way to reach me is via email me at, but you could also write me a note, or leave a message at 631-858-3500, extension 4508, and I will respond as soon as possible.

  • Extra Help will be given Tuesdays after school in E2-19 from 2:50 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Students should bring questions to the Extra Help sessions in order to make this time as productive as possible.
