About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten
 Dear Kindergarten Student,

My name is Mrs. Coppola and I am your new Kindergarten teacher.   I am so excited to meet you!   This will be an exciting year filled with lots of new friends, adventures, and learning.

You will be a very special part of our classroom. My goal is to encourage you to be the best person you can be and support you in every way.  You have wonderful gifts, strengths, and talents and I can’t wait for you to share them with me.

If you ordered a supply kit it will be waiting for you in our room.  If you are purchasing your own supplies, you may bring them in on this day.  In the envelope that was mailed to you, there will be a crayon nametag.  Please have a grown up write your name and dismissal bus number on the tag before you arrive on the first day of school.  Please write "walker" if you will be picked up from school each day.

On the first day of school you will need to bring a healthy snack and lunch labeled with your name.  Please be sure to pack snack and lunch in separate bags.  One bag should be labeled "lunch" and the other should be labeled "snack."  Your child may bring in a water bottle to keep at his/her table during the day.  Please make sure the water is in a bottle that will not spill if it tips over.  Also, please send in a Ziploc bag with a full set of extra clothes to keep in your cubby.

I'm counting the days until we can meet each other!  Enjoy the rest of your summer and I am glad to have you as part of our class.  See you soon!

Warmly,

Mrs. Coppola
