Auditory Processing Skills at Home
1.
While driving in the car, say two words (either rhyming or identical) and ask your child if they sound the "same or different". This activity can be done for sound blending exercises as well.
2. Play "Simon Says". Give your child 2-3 commands then have he/she repeat them back to you prior to execution.
3. When reading a story to your child, ask them to retell significant information in the correct order of occurrence.
