Dear Students,
Welcome to second grade! My name is Mrs. Cristello and I will be your teacher this year. I am busy setting up the classroom and I look forward to meeting you soon.
We've all had a crazy few years of school, but I'm hoping this one will seem a little closer to normal. We will have 22 students in our class. Right now the plan is for the students to go back to eating lunch in the cafeteria and back to having live specials - art, gym, music, library, and movement. I'm sure this excites you as much as it does me.
Before school starts you can get your supplies ready. Please unpack and label your supplies with your name. Place whatever loose items that will fit in your supply box before bringing it to school on the first day. I can collect the extra boxes of pencils and glue sticks on the first day and store them in the room until you need them throughout the year. If you pre-ordered a supply kit through the PTA, it will be waiting for you in the classroom when you arrive.
In addition, please remember to bring a snack and drink every day.
Enjoy the rest of the summer. We are going to have a fantastic year together. See you on September 9!
