Latin 2 Final Exam on June 11th and 12th

Students will be taking Part 2 of their Final Exam (Reading Comprehension and Language Skills) on June 11th. For the Reading Comprehension portion of the exam, students will read a passage of Latin and then answer questions about the content of the passage as well as about the questions about the grammar. For the Language Skills portion, students will identify the tense of Latin verbs and translate Latin verbs into English. Students will be taking Part 3 of their Final Exam (Greco-Roman Culture) on June 12th. Students will answer questions about mythology (Romulus and Remus, Perseus, Pyramus and Thisbe, and Hercules) and History/Art and Architecture (The Roman Monarchy and The Roman Republic). Students should study the PowerPoints about the Seven Kings of Rome and the Roman Republic. Students should be prepared to identify the name and function of buildings in the Seven Kings of Rome PowerPoint. Students should be prepared to identify a moral that they learned from either Romulus and Remus or Pyramus and Thisbe. They should be able to defend their moral with evidence from the story.
