Latin 1 Final Exam June 11th and June 12th

Latin 1 students will take parts 2 and 3 of their final exam on June 11th and 12th. Part 2 (June 11th) will be the Reading Comprehension and Derivatives section of the exam. Students will read a passage in Latin and then answer questions about the passage's content as well as grammatical questions (i.e. verb tense, number, person, and mood (imperative, infinitive, etc.) ; noun case and number). Students will then define derivatives and determine from which Latin words derivatives come. Part 3 (June 12th) will be the Greco-Roman Culture section of the exam. Students will answer questions about Ancient Roman daily life, myths and legends, art and architecture, and history and public life. Students should be prepared to identify one moral of the Aeneid, Cupid and Psyche, or the Iliad and defend this moral with evidence from the story. An in-depth study guide, including vocabulary that should be learned, can be found on the Latin 1 page of my website.
