Burr has a pair of national champions in the PTA Reflections contest.

Fourth grader Solina V. earned an award of merit in dance choreography and fifth grader Ryan S. earned an award of merit in the literature category.

Both students were honored by the Burr PTA during its final meeting of the school year on Thursday morning.

Commack Schools boasted eight New York State award winners.
