CMS' Cause Four Paws Collects Items for Little Shelter, Meets Nutmeg
CMS’ Cause Four Paws club hit a high note during its final meeting of the school year on Wednesday.
The club displayed the results of a collection drive that yielded several bags filled with toys, blankets, pet food and other pet-friendly items. The items will be donated to the Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center.
The group also had a special guest.
Two guests, actually.
Club guest Allison Schouten, who coordinates PBIS at CMS, brought her 2½-year-old pet guinea pig Nutmeg to Wednesday’s meeting.
The students learned how to care for a guinea pig and even had the chance to feed him.
