CHS on CBS!

CHS showed up in full force on Friday, with more than 700 sign-waving students and staff packing the South Gym for CBS New York's live 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. newscast.
CBS anchor Chris Wragge, who led the network's presence at CHS, told the students afterward: "This has truly been a massive success. And it's all because of you guys."
CHS is the first-ever Suffolk County school featured on CBS' "Class Act."
In a mixture of live and prerecorded interviews, the network highlighted CHS' signature spaces, including its Bloomberg financial lab, mock-trial courtroom, Esports arena, and college-style cafeteria and courtyard. The 28-time national champion Cougarettes kickline team performed as the band and orchestra played music from Barbie.
The event had a College GameDay-type pep rally feel while showcasing our community.
Whitsons Culinary Group even debuted its food truck at CHS, with students treated to bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches.
