Seniors Collect $90K in Scholarships during Ceremony
CHS seniors received $90,000 in awards courtesy of 80 community-based scholarships on Wednesday evening at the Senior Scholarship Recognition Ceremony.
The high school community was honored to be able to remember so many we've lost, whose memories live on in part through these scholarships.
Earlier in the evening, CHS also held its Senior Awards and Top Cohort Recognition Ceremony.
Sixty-four seniors were recognized in in the top cohort for maintaining a 100-plus weighted cumulative GPA during high school.
From that group, seniors Harris C. and Carrie V. served as honored speakers during the ceremony.
