A pair of CMS students will be featured in the New York Dance Theatre’s production of “The Nutcracker” at Hofstra University’s John Cranford Adams Playhouse on Dec. 20 and 21.

Seventh grader Anna C. and eighth grader Valentina L. share the central role of Clara.

This year’s cast includes additional Commack students performing multiple roles in the iconic holiday story ballet, including children in the Party Scene, Toy Soldiers and Mice in the Battle Scene, Snowflakes, Angels, and various confections in the Land of Sweets: Amari B., Priya C., Maria C., Claire D., Isabella F., Isabel G., Sofia G., Marilyn I., Samara K., Serafima M., Elizabeth P., Isabella S., Alyssa T. and Nina V.
