Primary Classes Celebrate Read Across America with Crafts and Stories From CHS and CMS Students
In celebration of Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ birthday, CHS students in the Educators Rising Club visited North Ridge and CMS Honor Society students visited Rolling Hills for a special literacy event.
Both groups shared classic Dr. Seuss stories and led the primary students in a variety of fun, hands-on activities. To bring the stories to life, the primary students created their own bird nests, designed colorful fishbowls and doorknob hangers, assembled The Cat in the Hat hats and photo frames, and made Sam-I-Am hand puppets.
