Burr Students Hold Emotional Ride For Life Assembly
Burr students again opened their hearts for the ALS Ride for Life on Thursday afternoon.
Jordan Tarozzi and Commack’s Desi Kessler, both of whom are dealing with the effects of ALS, offered their heartfelt thanks to students during an inspiring assembly in the auditorium.
Burr has been partners with the ALS Foundation for the past 25 years.
The students on Thursday donated $5,000 they had raised in recent months.
In an emotional moment, they also sang the ALS Ride for Life song.
“It’s amazing what can happen when when we all work together,” principal Dan Ciccone said.
