After-School Virtual Academic Extra Help Grades 6-12

The Commack School District is excited to announce that beginning on Monday, March 1, 2021, our after school virtual Academic Extra Help program will be open to ALL students in grades 6-12.  After school tutoring sessions will be available for Social Studies, English, Math, Science, and World Language courses. The sessions will be facilitated by certified teachers. Students are invited to log into the session at any time during the time listed on the schedule.
In addition to your child’s own teacher’s extra help sessions, the after school tutoring sessions are a valuable resource for our students should they need help with homework, have questions about a specific topic, or would like extra help prior to an exam. Both the schedule and the links for the Academic Extra Help sessions can be found on any teacher’s Google Classroom in their “classwork” section for those subjects in which tutoring sessions are offered.

Seven-Day Chart - February 28, 2021

The chart of positive COVID-19 cases reported to our schools will no longer be distributed with a daily email and/or text message and will be posted on the website. The chart will be updated each evening (except Saturday) and can be viewed by clicking the title (above).
The seven-day percentage of COVID-19 cases reported to our schools remains steadily below 1.0%. The 7-day percentage for the Commack Schools is 0.30%.
