  Sweetbriar’s Halloween Spooktacular
Come to Sweetbriar Nature Center all ghoulies, and ghosties, and other Halloween creepies for an evening of fun and excitement.   Enjoy Eerie Animal Presentations, the Ghostly Garden, Creepy Crafts, Scary Stories, a Night Walk, and  refreshments.   Special outdoor trails have been created for different age groups.   The Enchanted Woodland Trail is for ages 4 to 8 and The Trail To an Eerie Tale and adjoining attractions are for ages 8 and up.   For the fifth year in a row we will have our Jack O’ Lantern Trail lined with lit up Jack O’ Lanterns of all kinds.  Bring one home with you for a donation. 
Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19, 7pm to 10pm 
 
Who: Recommended for families with children ages 5 and up
How much:  $15/child, $5/adult

  Tales, Trails, and Treats at Sweetbriar Nature Center
A fun afternoon for kindergarten and pre-school aged children including close encounters with animals, a ghostly garden, crafts, and a special trick or treat trail complete with animals characters and a story book.   
Saturday, October 26, 1pm  to 3:30pm  
Who: Children ages 2 to 6  How much: $10/child 
  Halloween Happening - Come visit Hotel Transylvania and the Haunted House. $1 plus a can of food would be an awesome treat! More info

Meet at Huntington Post Office on Gerard St. 
  Creatures Of the Night    Come down to Sweetbriar for a post Halloween nocturnal adventure on our trails.   Before you embark into the night participants will meet some nocturnal animals that enjoy the cover of darkness.  Dress warmly and bring a flashlight just in case.  Friday, November 1, 7pm
Who: Families with children 7 and up
How much: $10 /person, discounts available for scouts

Sweetbriar’s experienced educators help open up the wonders of the natural world for children, through hands-on activities, live animals, crafts, and much more.  Themes in chronological order Frozen II, Mammal-mania,  Nature’s Holiday Wonderland, Lost Kingdoms Of Sweetbriar and New Year’s Wildlife Party 
Monday,  Thursday and Friday, and Monday, December 23, 26 and 27 & Monday, Tuesday, December 30 and 31.
Ages: 5 to 11
How Much: $75/day and $325 for the week for members, $85/day or $375/week for non-members
