Latin 3 Checkpoint B Exam on June 11th, 12th, and 13th

Latin 3 students will be taking part 3 of their Checkpoint B exam on June 11th. This is the Reading Comprehension section of the exam. Students will read a passage of Latin. Students will answer questions about the content of the passage as well as questions about grammar and syntax. Latin 3 students will be taking part 4 of their exam on June 12th. This is the Language Skills section of the exam. Students will analyze a series of sentences and answer grammatical and syntactical questions about them. They will also translate some of the sentences into English. Students will be taking part 5 of the exam on June 13th. This wil the Greco-Roman Culture section of the exam. They should be prepared to answer questions about mythology (Romulus and Remus, Pyramus and Thisbe, Perseus, and Herculues. They should be prepared to answer questions about History and Art and Architecture (The Roman Monarchy and the Roman Republic). They should study the Seven Kings of Rome PowerPoint and the Roman Republic PowerPoint. They should be able to identify the name and function of buildings in the Seven Kings of Rome PowerPoint.
